Routes to Swinemünde / Swinoujscie
The major part of Swinemünde is located on Usedom island. You can get to the island by car via the Zecherin bridge over the Peene river (on road B110, between the towns of Anklam and Usedom). The other route leads via the bridge over the Peene river in Wolgast.
The border-crossing point Swinemünde-Ahlbeck is open to cars, busses, pedestrians and cyclists.

The bridge over the Peene river in Wolgast is both a road and a railway bridge.

The ferry for long-distance traffic from the East (also for trucks) crosses the Swina river near Kaseburg (Karsibor).
Car ferries cross the Swina river at frequent intervals. In 1939, it was planned to tunnel under the Swina river. The war shattered these plans.
